| President Obama is offering a chance for donors to win a dinner with him and Joe Biden all expenses paid. https://donate.barackobama.com/page/contribute/o2012-dwb-announcement?source=20110627_TW1Tweeking this a little bit....let's say you had the chance to have dinner with the President. First of all, are you game? Second of all, would you prefer to have him at your house, have dinner at his house, or go to the local diner???? Thirdly, pick two topics you'd love to chat with him about. One serious, one not. What would you talk about???? I think I'd almost rather meet with him at my house, the White House would be 2nd choice. Topics I'd discuss: Fun: Dreams for his girls, how they enjoy spending time together. Serious: Seriously Barack, what does it take to put education for kids back in the forefront and to be successful in this country? I'm really worried about the quality of education kids are getting at home and in school. | |

| My mama always told me if you don't have anything nice to say to not say anything at all. But, on the other hand, I'm not one to just click on a thread, read it, and not respond with a little something something. So all I can say is, no, I would not be interested in spending any time at all with Mr. President. I'll be very interested in reading others' thoughts though! | |

| Oooops I just noticed it today. I'm surprised no one has commented - I know there are some here who are great at talking politics. I personally just don't like politics, I'm horrible at expressing my views, and above all I dislike our current President. I enjoy reading others' views though! | |

| Have zero interest in meeting Barry. I can't stand the man, I can't even watch him on TV. |

| A great man, doing a difficult job. Will likely go down in history as a great leader of our nation. But, I'd still rather have dinner with Clay!!! |

Be sure to post your recap! Seriously, though, I wasn't being funny....I do think he is a great President and world leader. I admire him very much. I don't agree with everything he does (he is a MAN after all) but he's absolutely the best we've had since Bill Clinton! (Jane will find THAT very humorous!!) |
