| Hey basket!
They figure it will be at least until the end of December. Coleman started with about a 400 vote lead, which has been slowly shrinking. 13 votes now! They need to count about 500 "lost" ballots, and then the absentee ballots that were first denied, now it looks like they will be counted. Then there is the thousands of ballots that the different sides rejected, and they need to be looked over by a jurying process.
Coleman said that Frankin should have just conceeded the election when Coleman had the 400 vote lead. I wonder what Coleman will say about that if Frankin takes over the lead from him, and is leading by 27 votes. There will be lawsuits and arguing about this for a good long time.
It is expected that the Senate will finally decide who wins, (kinda like Florida and the presidential election in 2000). |

| Pardon me for not being certain, but isn't Minnesota your state? And if so, do you have a preference??? | |

| Actually, I used to live in Minnesota, but only have a vested interest now. I'm a Frankin girl, which is why I am watching the race so closely. In a Senate race, you have to wait six years for the next election for that seat, so it can easily be a one shot deal, all or bust. (I had a good friend who ran for Senate in my state, and he blew it with neg ads. We told him to let up, but he listened to his advisors, and that was that. He left the state after that and is selling insurance somewhere..........I kid.... ) |
