Okay.... I'm curious where the 2 million number came from, it's not in the article. It looks like they just rented the park.

It makes sense to reserve the park ahead of time.

We have Clay release parties, looks like it's coming from the same place.

Obama is 10 points ahead in the polls. It makes sense that some would think it worth at least anticipating a win for the Dems at this point, and a party afterwards.

I think for the most part the members are staying away from some of the unnecessary candidate bashing.

Even if it were true - so what - its not exactly cheap to rent halls that big and provide what you need to for that type of a celebration joined in in some way by the whole country.

I guess its ok to spend 2million of a party but a wardrobe of 150k is something to talk about Lord almighty. something is wrong with this picture. 2million is nothing to that man. Just wait everyone. Hold onto your hat for what is coming. ain't seen nothin yet.
