Honestly, I don't think either of them can fix this mess. I have not heard any postives from with one that makes much sense to me. Time will tell.

The candidate who can keep jobs in America, has an energy plan that is progressive, who promotes plans to insure that our children get the best education possible, and who will be able to reapportion existing tax receipts (i.e., ending the war in Iraq as effectively and efficiently as possible to make those funds available for other things) and who will work toward regulation of our banking and securities system will be able to fix the economy. But it will take time.
