How wonderful that this can be. No matter how you feel about Barack Obama - how wonderful that a Black man can now rise to president of the great United Staes of America.

wonderful indeed.

This is a great day for America. Let the healing begin.

Well, you're right. History has been made.

I hope Barack Obama will be a good President in the long run.

I'm all for giving him a chance. I'm sure he'll be closely scrutinized.

It's wonderful to live in a country where you can vote for your leader. Sometimes yours win; sometimes they lose. I have thoroughly enjoyed the wealth of information, passion, and opinions of everyone who posted about the election. We don't always have to agree. I learn something from everyone on here, and that's a wonderful thing.

i've been watching the coverage, and heard the announcement at 11pm. i may not have voted for Obama, but i wish him success. the prosperity, health, and safety of out nation is trusting in it.
