Simon Cowell Gets Dumped Over The Phone,

The King of the Kiss-Off, Simon Cowell, was unceremoniously given the old heave-ho by longtime girlfriend Terri Seymour.

The American Idol's controversial judge was dumped over the phone,
his rep tells People Magazine. "Terri phoned Simon and finished it in
September, about six weeks ago," said Max Clifford.

"They are going toremain close friends. Simon thinks the world of Terri and that isn'tgoing to change. He also understands her reason for ending it."

Seymour, 34, and may have been looking for children and a ring, but Clifford
says with Cowell, 48, that was unlikely. "In the past Terri has said
that she wants kids but that just isn't Simon," said Clifford. "Nobody
else is involved, certainly not on Simon's side."

I never thought they looked good as a couple. You know how you look at some couples and they look good together (not that they are great looking) but they just look like a good match.

And I really didn't care for her to be honest with you. She is right in moving on though, if she wants to settle down and have children and he doesn't good for her and not just settling.

So many women, and men for that matter think that maybe after they marry the other person will change their mind, or they think they love the person so much that it wont matter in the end. At first it might be ok, but after a while they realize what they gave up in order to marry this person.

She is doing the right thing by not settling.

i know next to nothing about ex-g/f Terri... but i'd imagine it would be difficult to impossible to marry someone who is as self absorbed as Simon is. he may never marry.

i hope Terri finds happiness elsewhere, and relatively soon.
