Jane maybe your words will change someone's vote - what do I know.

But they would never change mine if I were voting for Obama. I simply hate mudslinging in a campaign. It's a total waste of time.

In all the words you've posted on this forum I simply can't remember a single one where you showed me any reason to vote for McCain.

I dont vote AGAINST people. I vote FOR them. I have not heard a single reason from you that I can remember on why I should vote for McCain.

OK Morgan,

McCain is,

An Experienced Leader.
An Experienced Politician and always puts his country before himself.
An Honest man, he does what's best for the people that he works for.
A Good man, and surrounds himself with good people, the best people.
A Trustworthy man, if it's not good for the people of his State he wont give in.
Faithful to his Country...
Honest about his past, there hasn't been one thing to come out that wasn't already known. And even then, there were no Known Terrorists that he dined with or was friends with, there is no one in his past or present that isn't as good as he is.
He is Patriotic to the core and has proven it.
He loves his Country.
He would die for his Country, and he has proven that too.

Morgan, did you watch the video I link I posted? I think that's perhaps the best reason I've ever heard for voting for McCain.

Also, I completely respect his Lexington Project (his energy plan). It is far more realistic than Obama's, and addresses immediate relief, long term relief, and green issues.

Also, I respect someone who understands that the business of America is business, and that if you hurt small businesses, you get people fired. He seems much more grounded in reality than Obama's plan.

Finally, John McCain is a straight shooter about taxes. He hasn't promised a tax cut he can't provide, nor has he already started back pedaling on that very promise.

Those are my reasons.

Thanks Renee - and I did watch. I know I sound like a big Obama supporter - I'm not. I'm just stating an opinion on things and how I see them.

I see a whole lot of OMG Obama is the devil himself and is going to ruin America. I see very little McCain is the best man for the job because . . .

watch this video. Could this be a purely innocent action of Obama while speaking of McCain using the bird finger. Could be but I'm guessing he's too smart (after all thats all I hear, he graduated from Harvard) to do this on air.

Ok I'm out of this until its over.

I've had enough.

Deb I said plainly there I'm not an Obama supporter and you post underneath it . . . with supporters like these

I just dont get that - whats with all the hatred.

You can all have at it. Hate all you want. I think its truly sad and frankly it tells me all I need to know about McCain. There's nothing good to say about him so the only way he's going to win is to ride the other guy to the ground with all the hatred he can muster up. Certainly thats how it appears on this forum.

Honestly, its possible to support your guy without attacking the other guy - it really is. But too late cause this undecided voter won't be listening anymore.

With all your constant Obama is everything evil imaginable and is going to ruin this country posts I still havent seen a damn thing positive about McCain that anyone is getting excited about.

Result ? He appears useless. I hope you guys are happy with that. If you aren't you've missed your chance to support your guy.

I'm out. Have a nice election day. Geesh . . .

Morgan,
How you can find hate in the truth is sad to be honest with you.
If you know anything about McCain I would hope you would let us know.
But there is nothing about McCain to suggest that he has anything in his past to equal Obama's.

I would want to know if McCain was friends with Racists or Bigots, Domestic or International Terrorists.

Please tell me if you even suspect that he has such horrible people in his past.

I really would want to know. I am sure other's would too. I don't want someone like that in the White House.

If someone says something horrible about someone then yes it is pure hate and dishonest. But, the truth is a very different thing.

I don't see any hate here, I see concern and people trying to get the truth out.

Wow Morgan, I don't mean to speak for Deb, but I think you misunderstood her. As I read it, when she said "With supporters like these" she was referring to the person in the video. Please go back and reread, not to change your mind about anything, but just to get rid of the hurt. You were not attacked; please at peace about that.

As to other...if you'll notice, I have tried to post the positive things about McCain as well. Yes, Obama scares the hell out of me but I can talk for hours about McCain's better qualifications. Please check out my posts.

Hugs to you Morgan.

Another thing that has really bothered me is that Obama's middle name is off limits. Why? How do you think that makes Muslims in this country feel? If you have a Muslim name beware?

It says to me that there are certainly racists and bigots out there, and it's not against Blacks or people of any particular Race, it's against a religion.

Thanks for clarifying that Renee -

emotions are running too high and its making me nuts - I cant handle this kind of stuff for long.

Sorry Deb - I misunderstood.

Its been a rough couple days, sorry. My daughter is so depressed I cant get more than 2 words out of her and she goes long hours without answering her phone which scares me to death. I saw my friend with Lou Gehrigs disease yesterday and she's slipped into the final stages and can barely breath or talk. A patient in the hospital who has been there for more than two months now and was almost ready to go home, lost her battle yesterday and slipped into a coma she will probably not come out of. She's only 58. We had become good friends. I worked in the woman's hospital yesterday for the first time in almost a year and was really enjoying it until two different long term patients both unexpectedly lost thier babies. I'm having a hard time with all of it so I need to steer clear of the emotions that are raging here. I'm going to just read and monitor but not post anymore.

Sorry again Deb - I didnt think it sounded like something you would say.

peace out

Morgan I am sorry that you are feeling upset too. I really am. I completely misunderstood you and thought that you had made up your mind and were voting for Obama.

I honestly didn't mean to upset or stress you out anymore than you already were.. In fact I thought things were going quite well. None of us have been hateful towards each other.

I should have known better, I should have asked you before I made an assumption.

You know we love ya, don't you?

I just got a candle out to light for you too. I want you to feel at peace no matter who you vote for. It's your vote so you give it to who ever you support!

Also, I am sorry that you have so much stress in your life. I will remember you, your daughter and your friends in my prayers tonight (I know, I'm a bitch, but I do pray) LOL

I'm a little stressed myself with Pete being back in the hospital.

Awww Janey

I'm so sorry ht and thanks for the kind words.

I did say often I was only calling what I saw and not supporting Obama but geesh we all get such diarrhea of the mouth on these issues we dont hear each other.

I dont care who wins - they both will be just fine in my opinion I just really get upset at the total hatred. No one could be as bad as Obama is painted and frankly I think it works in his favor. Not a good way to elect a president but well we shall see.

thanks again honey.

thanks again honey.

It's not so much the man as it is his judgment in the people within his inner-circle of friends and spiritual advisors Morgan that concern me, and others.

And the lies. He lies about his relationship with people until he is found out, then he tries something else to see if that floats....It just goes on and on.

All of this has to matter or how else can we gage a person's goodness. If he wins it
says that good judgment and character are of no consequence in our elected officials.

Remember the big deal when Clinton admitted he tried pot, but didn't
inhale...Obama admitted to doing cocaine in HS, College and continued up to the time he moved to Chicago....

Then we have all these people that aren't good upstanding citizens that he is friends with. These are people we pray our children never get involved with.

Most of what we know has come from him himself, and from Video and so forth. They aren't lies about him, they are all true.

At some point it has to matter. You will know in your heart who you need to vote for. If it's Obama that's fine, if it's McCain that's fine too, it's your choice and it's your vote and you don't have to tell anyone.

I really don't see any hate here Morgan, just concern. The country is a mess right now. But all in all we are a nice bunch of people. We care about each other and that's a wonderful thing.

When Bill Clinton let it out the other day that Obama told all the advisor to let him know what to do and he would "Sell" it to us.....Do you think Clinton was being truthful? I do.

Anyway, you have enough on your mind right now. So take care of yourself.

I think we are just totally screwed no matter who gets elected. I think we should all write in Harrison Ford, he made a great President in "Air Foce One". Just sayin'

I don't believe we are totally screwed which ever way we vote. McCain is a good man and he is not afraid to do the right thing no matter anyone in his own party thinks.

But I do like your idea about Harrison Ford.....And he did do a great job in that movie...And he isn't too bad to like at either...lol
